Apple is set to launch the first iPad mini in 2018.
The company has already said that the mini will be priced at $199, but it’s likely that we’ll see it for a lot less in the form of a $299 price tag.
The new tablet is expected to feature a 13-inch display, a 1080p display, and a Core i5 processor, which is slightly below the i5-7000K in the MacBook Pro lineup.
It will be available in the US, the UK, Germany, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, though the exact launch locations have yet to be announced.
A new iPad Pro, which Apple is currently considering making available, will also likely follow shortly after the mini.
The mini is expected in March of 2018, though we’ll have to wait until then to find out when it’s going to be available for purchase.
